the first one!!

I some how am habitutated to read the blogs of people...i love reading...But i never got into the job of writing...not that I hate writing... I never felt the need to write (ofcourse barring those college days)...I was just wondering what is it that drives me to read blogs of people... Is it that I am not a good writer or that there is an innate feeling in me towards writing...I guess its both...

Having decided to write...I was asking myself should it be about physics or metaphysics...Well thats what thinking can do to you..you ask too many questions!!! I think I should stop thinking and start writing about anything that comes to mind...Infront of me i find an article about corruption in India..well therez my first topic INDIA...

All through my child hood I was taught that I should be proud for being born in India... well yes there was every reason why I should be proud...We some times judge a movie by its poster...When I see the map of India, a beautiful penensula...surrounded by the beautiful himalayas, the great Indian ocean..the bay of bengal...The packaging is appealing...india is a land of multiple religions and languages yet people understand each other very well and live in peace and hormony..there we have a promising economy...a solid technical force...The review is awesome...Are we in Uthopia??

Guess what!! the reviews and the posters are always misleading...the beautiful himalayas (nepal) is now a shelter for terrorists...the great Indian ocean a source of political turmoil ( sethu samudram project)..different religions leading to riots (godhra)...colleges running in a single building and producing technocrats...an economy where 42% of people are below international poverty line...Is this the same place that I was proud of in my childhood??Or was it always the same but its just that I have started seeing things differently???
